Eighty years on the same corner
Maple Avenue and Easton Road, across from what was the Willow Grove Air Station. Three names, one job.

1940s – early 1970s
Dutch's Diner. A small family diner run by the Rutherford family, and a landmark for anyone stationed at Willow Grove. Long-time Horsham residents and ex-military still call this corner Dutch's.

1970s – 1991
The Horsham Towne Diner. The Rutherfords sold to relatives of the current owners. Known for big breakfasts, baked goods, and a clear view straight out over the airfield.

1991 – today
Lancers Diner. A new name and a newer look, plus the things people now come back for: homemade soups, the salad bar, and a bakery case that's hard to get past.
A diner destination, not just a Horsham one
If you're driving from Philadelphia up to Doylestown or New Hope, you go past us. Plenty of our regulars aren't from Horsham at all — they come in from Feasterville, Ambler, Willow Grove, Warminster, Warrington, Elkins Park and Upper Dublin.
Peter, the owner, truly believes that Lancers wouldn't be what it is today without all the contributions of the past and present owners and employees. Everyone who comes through the doors of Lancers Diner will find home-cooked soups, entrées and desserts, at a price you'll find attractive. Our goal is to make you satisfied.
